Features

Long-term support with minimal tissue reactivity

Trulene elicits a minimal initial inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. It is neither absorbed nor subjected to degradation or weakening by the action of tissue enzymes.

01

Low tissue reactivity

02

High tensile strength

03

High plasticity allows better accommodation of wound healing

04

Easy to remove — ideal for a running, subcuticular closure

05

Does not adhere to tissues and can be used as an intradermal suture

06

Neither absorbed nor degraded by tissue enzymes
