Opulent™

A coated total knee system designed for durable, low-friction articulation and high-flexion mobility.

The Opulent™ Total Knee System combines individually packaged femoral, tibial and patellar components. Its cobalt-chromium femoral component features a Titanium Niobium Nitride (TiNbN) coating, while the tibial construct is available as an all-polyethylene component or as a metal tibial tray with a polyethylene insert and locking components.

The system

A complete total knee system with coated femoral technology

The Opulent™ Total Knee System is designed to replace the natural articular surfaces of the knee joint through a modular set of femoral, tibial and patellar components.

The femoral component is manufactured from cobalt chromium and receives a Titanium Niobium Nitride (TiNbN) coating. The tibial component can be configured either as an all-polyethylene component or as a metal tibial tray combined with a polyethylene insert and locking components. The patellar component uses an all-polyethylene design.

The system is designed around high surface strength, low-friction articulation, optimized sizing and high-flexion movement for active patients.

Indication

Knee arthroplasty

Knee replacement surgery, or knee arthroplasty, replaces the weight-bearing articular surfaces of the knee joint with artificial components in order to relieve pain and restore function.
