Features

Knitted monofilament polypropylene

Indicated for different types of hernia repair which require a non-absorbable reinforcing material. It elicits an inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by the deposition of a thin fibrous layer which grows through the interstices of the mesh, incorporating it into the adjacent tissue. It is neither absorbed nor subject to degradation or weakening by the action of tissue enzymes.

01

Biologically inert

02

Gives strong support for the long term

03

Excellent tensile strength and pliability

04

Knitted by a process which interlinks each fibre junction and provides for elasticity in both directions

05

Bi-directional elastic property allows adaptation to various stresses encountered in the body

06

Mesh can be cut into any desired shape or size without unravelling

Applications

Where Trulene Mesh is indicated

Indicated across hernia repair and abdominal wall reinforcement.

  • Inguinal hernia
  • Incisional hernia
  • Ventral hernia
  • Abdominal wall deficiencies requiring a non-absorbable reinforcing material
